Music Startup Academy To Make Its First Trip To Philly On 10/28

The Music Business Association (Music Biz) will host its first Philadelphia-based Music Startup Academy on Wednesday, October 28. The course curriculum will provide insights into key areas like licensing, business development and operations. Startups and entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to a panel of industry experts for a constructive critique to better prepare them for when they score a real-life face-to-face meeting at a record label, VC firm and more. Now that we’ve taught you all about meeting with the label’s biz dev folks and marketing your products, it’s your turn to incorporate what you’ve learned and pitch our team of experts on your product. The team and the audience will critique your pitch, offering constructive tips that everyone in the room can carry with them as they take their products and their pitches to the next level.
